Does Sarah Hanson-Young know who’s in the Greens? #auspol

Pamela Curr (29 January 2012):

At the moment I am working with the Victorian Peace Network. I am also the national spokesperson for the Greens for refugees, but even if I weren’t, I see myself as one of the many refugee activists.  [Source]

Sarah Hanson-Young (11 September 2012):

Oh, and this one is very interesting: Labor for Refugees. You know what? There is no Greens for Refugees. We do not need a Greens for Refugees, because it is very clear what our policy is and what we stand for. [Source]

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwkward.

EDIT: Or maybe not so awkward; check the comments.

  1. You’re reading Pamela Curr’s comment as meaning that (she is (the national spokesperson for the (Greens for refugees)))? Are you completely sure she didn’t mean that (she is ((the national spokesperson for the Greens) for refugees))?
